Making Teachers Supply Bags

Wednesday, July 31 | 11:30am - 12:30pm

The team will gather at FLC in Room A-2 on Wednesday, July 31st @ 11:30am to package bags filled with supplies for teachers at local schools. You will receive instructions and project vision from Team Leaders. FLC will provide all supplies.

Must be accompanied by an adult if younger than 15 years and older.


Appreciation Gifts for Local Law Enforcement

Monday, July 29 | 6pm - 8pm

The Team will gather at FLC in Room A-2 to package appreciation boxes for local law enforcement. You will receive instructions and project vision from Team Leaders. FLC will provide all supplies.

Must be accompanied by an adult if younger than 15 years old.


Ronald McDonald Family Room Comfort Boxes

Sunday, July 28 | 12:30pm - 1:30pm

The Ronald McDonald Family Room at Women’s and Children’s Hospital provides a place for families to stay who need to be close to their children that are in the hospital. In an effort to make their stay a little easier, we will be assembling Comfort Boxes to be given to these families. We will assemble these boxes at FLC in Room A-2.  FLC will provide all supplies.

Must be at least 10 years old. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.


Miles Perret Care Bags

Saturday, August 3 | 9am - 10:30am

Miles Perret Cancer Services is a resource center for individuals and their families fighting, surviving, and living with cancer.  To support their mission of sharing hope, we will be assembling and donating care bags. The team will meet at the Miles Perret Center located at 2130 Kaliste Saloom Road at 9:00am on Saturday, Aug 3rd, to assemble the packets.

Must be at least 18 years old.

  • No, you do not; however, if your church is having a serve week, we encourage you to partner with them.

  • Wear your FLC t-shirt! Sunscreen, water, and a hat are always a good idea. Some projects may require additional items. Your Team Leader will contact you. (Examples: Gloves, rakes, lawnmower, pressure washer, step ladders, and Ice chest with water or cold drinks.)

  • Sign up online by picking a project above. You can also be apart by simple acts kindness you can do yourself. Check out our DIY projects here.

  • Yes, if the project allows for their age group. (i.e. Lawn care, Nursing Home, Care bags, etc.)

  • Of course!

  • Please get with your Team Leader for project details, due to parking space and security at projects.
