Faith House Meal
Sunday, July 28 | 3pm - 5pm
Join us in preparing and serving a meal for the Faith House survivors. Our team will meet in Bldg J on the FLC campus to cook, prep, heat up and package to-go plates to be delivered to the Faith House.
All minors 14 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
Serving Teachers a Meal
Tuesday, August 6 | 9:30am - 12:30pm
The team will meet team leader at Building J in the FLC back parking lot to load up supplies and caravan together to designated location.
Must be FLC member who has completed all Next Steps classes, and at least 15 years old.
Meals on Wheels
Wed 9:45am - 12pm | Fri 9:45am - 12pm | Sat 11:30am - 12:30pm
Join us in delivering food to the elderly in our community through Meals on Wheels/LA Council on Aging. You will see instructions and location from you rteam leader. They will provide 15-18 meals as well as the delivery address list.
Must be a member of FLC, at least 18 years old, and have completed all Next Steps classes.
Feeding the Homeless
Saturday, August 3 | 10am - 4pm
Join us in preparing food and serving the homeless in our community. We will meet at the church in the back parking lot (by Building J) @ 10:00am Saturday, Aug 3rd, to prep and package food. Then we will load up and caravan together to multiple locations.
Must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by a parent.
St. Joseph Diner
Saturday, August 3rd | 6:30am - 8am | 11am - 1pm | 1pm 3pm
Join us in preparing and serving a meal for those in our community experiencing hunger. Meet us at St Joseph’s Diner (parking available in lot next to the diner.) Door to enter St Joseph’s Diner on Simcoe side of 2-story building near the blue dumpster. Ring doorbell.
Must be a FLC member, completed all Next Steps classes, and at least 11 years old. All minors must be accompanied by a parent.

No, you do not; however, if your church is having a serve week, we encourage you to partner with them.

Wear your FLC t-shirt! Sunscreen, water, and a hat are always a good idea. Some projects may require additional items. Your Team Leader will contact you. (Examples: Gloves, rakes, lawnmower, pressure washer, step ladders, and Ice chest with water or cold drinks.)

Sign up online by picking a project above. You can also be apart by simple acts kindness you can do yourself. Check out our DIY projects here.

Yes, if the project allows for their age group. (i.e. Lawn care, Nursing Home, Care bags, etc.)
